A VIBRANT TRANSFORMATION

So often, we seek inspiration from the residences with the most grandeur, but this need not be the case. This project by Pink Box Design Renovations demonstrates that with careful design and craftsmanship, even the smallest home can be transformed into an inspirational and enviable living space.

Nestled in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, this tired and run-down 1970s apartment was in dire need of an upgrade. With a desire to completely revamp the living and kitchen area, the client’s vision was a vibrant and modern space. This was achieved by changing the layout to an open plan area with a range of finishes that provide a natural, light and timeless colour palette.

The kitchen was reworked with custom floor-to-ceiling joinery that added visual height to the small kitchen while also providing additional storage. The light-coloured joinery was balanced with some cabinet-free walls to ensure the space didn’t become overcrowded.

Pink Box Design Renovations opted for engineered flooring in a chevron pattern, resulting in a luxury look with durability to sustain foot and pet traffic. Custom-made Laminex joinery in natural finish were implemented alongside Ceasarstone benchtops for an ideal low-maintenance kitchen.
